Responsibility
- Provide first and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment, including workstations, printers, and clinic-specific software systems.
- Manage user accounts, system access permissions, and data security protocols.
- Perform regular system backups, software updates, and security patches to ensure operational continuity.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex infrastructure or connectivity challenges.
- Assist in the procurement and configuration of new IT assets and software deployments.
- Document technical processes and create knowledge-based guides for end-users.
- Monitor network health and security, reporting potential risks to management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Strong understanding of Windows/macOS environments and network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
- Proficiency in hardware maintenance and software installation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Experience with dental practice management software is considered a strong advantage.
