Responsibility
- Conduct functional, system, integration, and performance testing to validate software compliance with specified requirements.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
- Document and report test results, including defects, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on potential quality risks.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Assist in the automation of test processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
