Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain the organization's cybersecurity systems to prevent, detect, and respond to threats.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and endpoints, to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on cybersecurity awareness and IT operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new and existing systems.
- Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively enhance defenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT operations, cybersecurity, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SIEM).
- Experience with network security, firewall management, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure management, including servers, databases, and cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively train and support non-technical staff.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
