Responsibility
- Monitor multiple CCTV camera feeds simultaneously to ensure the safety and security of premises.
- Perform daily health checks on surveillance hardware and network-connected security devices.
- Coordinate with security personnel and local authorities during incidents or emergency situations.
- Generate comprehensive daily reports on system status, incidents, and security observations.
- Maintain storage logs and ensure all video evidence is archived according to company data retention policies.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of software glitches, connection drops, and hardware malfunctions.
- Assist the IT department in conducting routine maintenance and firmware updates for security infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent vocational training.
- Proven experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Dispatcher, or similar technical role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of video management software (VMS) and basic network troubleshooting.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to remain alert during long periods of observation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey critical information clearly under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry systems.
- Willingness to work on shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
