Responsibility
- Research, write, and edit Malay-language news articles and features for digital platforms.
- Assist in producing multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and social media posts.
- Monitor current affairs and trending topics to identify compelling story angles.
- Collaborate with editors, reporters, and producers to refine content and ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and editorial strategies.
- Support the team in fact-checking, sourcing, and verifying information.
- Engage with audiences by responding to comments and feedback on published content.
- Assist in translating or localizing content for broader regional reach.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Fluent in Malay (written and spoken) with strong English proficiency.
- Passion for news, current affairs, and digital storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills with attention to detail.
