Responsibility
- Identify and engage potential clients in Japan and other target markets to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to expand the company’s presence in international markets.
- Manage end-to-end customer relationships, from initial contact and sample requests to contract negotiations and after-sales support.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the Japanese market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, logistics) to ensure seamless delivery of products/services to international clients.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations in both English and Japanese to stakeholders.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness and partnerships.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Fluency in Japanese (N2 level or higher) and English (both written and verbal).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in international marketing, business development, or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and expanding market share in Japan or other Asian markets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic, multicultural work environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required (up to 20% of the time).
