Responsibility
- Manage and maintain RHEL Linux and Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and monitor security measures using Symantec Endpoint Protection to safeguard company data and systems.
- Administer VMware virtualization platforms, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee backup and recovery processes using Veeam Backup to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor system performance and network health using SolarWinds and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve infrastructure efficiency.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure System Engineer or similar role, with expertise in RHEL Linux and Windows Server.
- Strong knowledge of Symantec Endpoint Protection, VMware, Veeam Backup, and SolarWinds.
- Experience with network configuration, security protocols, and system monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, MCSE, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
