Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat-based infrastructure solutions to support business operations.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Red Hat platforms with existing systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging Red Hat technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Specialist with a focus on Red Hat Platform.
- Strong proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, OpenShift) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, RHCSA) are a plus.
