Responsibility
- Monitor and control access to industrial facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect and deter suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Operate and maintain security equipment, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and communication systems.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or alarms, and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including visitor records and security checks.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and access control.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries or directions.
- Participate in security training programs and drills to ensure readiness for potential threats or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Proven experience as a security guard, preferably in an industrial or government setting.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long durations, including in outdoor or challenging environments.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
