As a Field Agronomist, you will serve as the technical and sales liaison at the municipal level, ensuring that government stakeholders receive expert guidance on EPI’s agricultural offerings. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing crop productivity, sustainability, and food security in the region. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about agriculture, technical sales, and community impact.
Based in Bali’s key areas—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll collaborate with local authorities, farmers, and EPI’s internal teams to deliver tailored agronomic solutions. With a competitive salary range of ₱16,000 – ₱18,000 per month, this position combines financial rewards with the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in the agricultural sector.
Responsibility
- Conduct field demonstrations and technical presentations to government agencies and local farming communities to showcase EPI’s products and services.
- Develop and implement municipal-level sales strategies to drive adoption of EPI’s agricultural solutions, including fertilizers, seeds, and crop protection products.
- Provide expert agronomic advice to government officials, farmers, and cooperatives on best practices for soil health, pest management, and sustainable farming.
- Collaborate with EPI’s R&D and marketing teams to gather field insights and feedback, ensuring product offerings align with local agricultural needs.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform EPI’s business development strategies.
- Organize and participate in agricultural workshops, seminars, and trade shows to promote EPI’s brand and expertise.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, technical support provided, and customer interactions for performance tracking and reporting.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies, agricultural cooperatives, and farming communities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in field agronomy, agricultural sales, or technical advisory roles, preferably in the public sector or with government agencies.
- Strong technical knowledge of crop production, soil science, pest management, and sustainable farming practices.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets in agricultural or B2G (business-to-government) markets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex agronomic concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Bali’s agricultural landscape and existing relationships with local government agencies or farming communities are highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bali’s key regions (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) and work flexible hours as needed.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) is required; knowledge of local dialects is a bonus.
