EPI Phil. is seeking a highly motivated Independent Field Agronomist to join our Agriculture Division in Tuao, Cagayan. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between our company and government agricultural agencies, facilitating technical support and promoting high-quality agricultural products and services that empower local farmers.
As an Independent Field Agronomist, you will be the face of EPI Phil. at the municipal level. You will leverage your technical expertise to provide field-based solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and manage government-led agricultural initiatives. Responsibility
- Facilitate and coordinate technical activities and field demonstrations with municipal government agricultural offices.
- Promote and market the full range of EPI Phil. agricultural products and services to government agencies and stakeholders.
- Provide expert technical advice and support to local farmers regarding crop management and product application.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for government accounts within the designated municipal area.
- Collect and report on field data, market trends, and feedback from government partners to improve service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with local government unit (LGU) officials and agricultural cooperatives.
- Monitor the progress of government-funded agricultural projects and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Valid License for Agriculturist (Board Passer) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales, field coordination, or community-based agricultural projects.
- Strong understanding of local government agricultural operations and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork within the Tuao, Cagayan area.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in local dialects in Cagayan is an advantage.
