Responsibility
- Lead and manage the incident management process, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Coordinate with IT teams to investigate and diagnose incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain incident management procedures, policies, and documentation to ensure compliance with ITIL best practices.
- Monitor and analyze incident trends to proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Facilitate post-incident reviews to document lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery.
- Collaborate with Problem and Change Management teams to ensure seamless integration of processes and reduce recurring incidents.
- Provide leadership and guidance to IT support teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Generate reports and metrics on incident management performance for senior management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Incident Management, IT Operations, or a similar role within an ITIL framework.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in IT service management tools and incident tracking systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Certification in ITIL v3 or v4 is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
