Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end import process, from purchase order to final delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Prepare and submit accurate import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve any delays or discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain records of import transactions, duties, and taxes for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and align import schedules with inventory needs.
- Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, or international trade.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian import regulations and Incoterms.
- Proficient in using ERP or logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the sports or retail industry is an advantage.
