Responsibility
- Source and evaluate international suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to manage import shipments, customs clearance, and compliance.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and align procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, or shipments promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in import operations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and Indonesian.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of international trade laws, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
