Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, VRF units, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations, as well as mall-specific operational standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Install and commission new HVAC equipment or system upgrades as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians or support staff when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in commercial or large-scale facilities.
- Certification in HVAC/R (e.g., EPA 608, local Indonesian HVAC certifications) is a strong plus.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and pneumatic/hydronic systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Basic English communication skills; fluency in Indonesian is required.
