Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Replace and restock linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest rooms are fully prepared for new arrivals.
- Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and compliance with company standards.
- Report any damages, shortages, or malfunctions to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, folding, and ironing linens as required.
- Respond to guest requests for additional services (e.g., extra towels, pillows) in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., front desk, maintenance) to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy items (up to 20 kg), and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
