Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure impeccable standards.
- Change and replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and amenities in accordance with hotel policies.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, functionality, and maintenance issues, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or room service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., front desk, maintenance) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the housekeeping manager.
- Assist in deep cleaning tasks, including upholstery, carpets, and windows, as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry (experience in hotels, resorts, or villas is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals (training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the role.
