Responsibility
- Oversee and perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, renovations, and installations, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel equipment and infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and expenditures, providing regular reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and company policies in all maintenance operations.
- Assist in budget planning for maintenance projects and recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping, reporting, and inventory management.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, etc.) are a plus.
