Responsibility
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the dining and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals.
- Assist guests with special requests, dietary restrictions, and any other needs to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it is always presentable and inviting.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Monitor and manage waitlists during peak hours, providing accurate wait times and updates to guests.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere, reflecting the values and culture of Gyo-En Boga Lestari.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
