Responsibility
- Provide exceptional table service to guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in dining areas, including table settings and decor.
- Assist in menu recommendations and upsell special dishes or promotions to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure timely service during peak hours and special events.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with hotel and local regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, service techniques, and hotel policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (luxury hotels or fine dining preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods while carrying trays or equipment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are advantageous.
