Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure all requests (dietary restrictions, special occasions) are communicated to the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including setting tables and replenishing supplies.
- Handle payments efficiently, process transactions, and provide receipts with a smile.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or specials to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
- Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and service standards in compliance with restaurant policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant, resort, or similar hospitality setting.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Spanish, French) are a plus.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Impeccable personal presentation and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with Bali’s hospitality industry or fine dining is advantageous.
