Responsibility
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed under medical supervision.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, nebulizers, and CPAP/BiPAP machines.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and analyze results to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and home care techniques.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, or a related medical field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting respiratory medical equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including emergency and critical care units.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is highly preferred.
