Responsibility
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) control systems.
- Ensure the BHS operates efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize system performance and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate new technologies and upgrades into the existing system.
- Monitor system performance and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a secure operational environment.
- Provide training and support to staff on system operations and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining control systems, preferably in an airport or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of automation, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective solutions.
