Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and marine equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct on-site and workshop repairs, including engine overhauls, hydraulic system repairs, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure machinery is available for critical project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements using company software and documentation systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and operators to enhance team capabilities.
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and testing of machinery before deployment to project sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Machinery Mechanic or Technician, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the construction, marine, or oil & gas industries.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
- Experience working with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations related to heavy machinery maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, welding, and fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel to project sites across Bali.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Basic proficiency in English (written and verbal) is preferred.
