Multi Nitrotama Kimia is seeking a seasoned and safety-conscious Head of Explosives Warehouse to lead our critical storage and logistics operations in Barito Selatan, Kalimantan Tengah. Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end operations of the explosives warehouse, ensuring 100% adherence to safety regulations and internal security protocols.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing training on handling procedures, emergency response, and safety compliance.
- Oversee inventory management, including precise tracking, receipt, storage, and dispatch of hazardous materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure the facility meets government and industry safety standards.
- Develop and implement operational workflows to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce handling risks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all movements of explosive materials, ensuring compliance with local and national licensing authorities.
- Collaborate with the transport and logistics departments to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within the mining, oil & gas, or hazardous materials sector.
- Strong knowledge of explosives safety regulations, K3 (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja), and hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in high-pressure industrial environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and inventory management software skills (SAP/ERP experience is a plus).
- Strong certification in Explosives Management or relevant industrial safety certifications is highly preferred.
- High level of professional integrity and a proactive approach to risk management.
