Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) to mitigate risks and enhance performance.
- Oversee identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security across cloud environments.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Ensure compliance with global security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR) and local regulations.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing cloud security team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Monitor emerging threats and proactively implement countermeasures to safeguard cloud assets.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Cloud Security Architect, Head of Security).
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security tools (e.g., SIEM, WAF, CSPM, CASB).
- Proven track record of designing and deploying secure cloud solutions at scale.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and compliance requirements.
- Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure/GCP Security Specialty are highly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to influence security policies and practices.
- Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Terraform, Ansible) for security orchestration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
