Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanics to ensure timely and high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a diverse fleet of vehicles.
- Oversee inventory management of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including service logs and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for vehicle operations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize maintenance tasks based on fleet usage and demand.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanic, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics, engine repair, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance software and digital diagnostic tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Certification from a recognized automotive or mechanical institution is a plus.
- Familiarity with Indonesian vehicle regulations and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred for effective communication.
