Responsibility
- Develop and refine menus that align with the restaurantās concept, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences.
- Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to ensure high performance, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and inventory management.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with local and international food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to control costs, reduce waste, and optimize kitchen workflows.
- Source high-quality ingredients from local and international suppliers, ensuring freshness and sustainability.
- Monitor customer feedback and adjust menus or service styles to enhance satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and industry best practices to keep the restaurant competitive.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role.
- Proven expertise in Asian, Western, or fusion cuisine, with a portfolio of creative and well-received dishes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse and multicultural team.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
