Responsibility
- Develop and maintain centralized sea freight schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Coordinate with internal teams, carriers, and clients to optimize routing and minimize transit times.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and operational challenges in real-time.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments and generate reports.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide accurate schedule updates.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sea freight logistics or schedule coordination.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
