Responsibility
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, laboratory testing, and field assessments.
- Analyze geological data to evaluate site conditions and recommend foundation designs.
- Develop and review geotechnical reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into project designs.
- Provide expert advice on slope stability, earthworks, and ground improvement techniques.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical specifications.
- Utilize advanced software and tools for geotechnical modeling and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in geotechnical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Experience working on infrastructure or construction projects in Southeast Asia is a plus.
- Professional certification or licensure in geotechnical engineering is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
