Responsibility
- Design and analyze geotechnical solutions for infrastructure projects, including foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability.
- Conduct site investigations and soil testing to assess ground conditions and provide recommendations for construction.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform geotechnical modeling and simulations using advanced software to predict and mitigate potential risks.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of geotechnical structures during and after construction to ensure long-term stability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and field personnel.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in geotechnical engineering and incorporate innovative techniques into project designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in geotechnical design and analysis, preferably in a consultancy or engineering firm.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, FLAC, or GeoStudio.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigation techniques.
- Experience with site investigations, soil testing, and interpretation of geotechnical data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Professional certification or licensure in geotechnical engineering is a plus.
