Responsibility
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including PEZA compliance submissions.
- Analyze distribution margins, cost allocations, and revenue streams to provide actionable insights for management.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of general ledger entries, journal adjustments, and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic business planning.
- Maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Support audit preparations by compiling documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and financial system improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or audit roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of PEZA regulations, tax compliance, and financial controls.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or BPO industries is advantageous.
