Responsibility
- Process daily fund accounting transactions including subscriptions, redemptions, and corporate actions
- Prepare and review net asset value (NAV) calculations under supervision
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile fund positions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare basic financial reports and client deliverables
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies
- Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls
- Participate in training programs to develop technical accounting skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships count!)
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Willingness to learn fund accounting software and systems
