Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective Singapore Math lessons to students of varying age groups and proficiency levels, adhering to the curriculum’s problem-solving and conceptual understanding approach.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Singapore Math methodology, ensuring students grasp foundational and advanced mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and feedback sessions, and provide personalized support to address learning gaps.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and a love for mathematics.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, parents, and school administrators to enhance the overall learning experience and address individual student needs.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to supplement traditional teaching methods, ensuring lessons are interactive and accessible.
- Participate in professional development workshops, training sessions, and team meetings to stay updated on best practices in Singapore Math instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress, and communicate updates to parents and guardians as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior teaching experience, particularly in mathematics or primary/elementary education, is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Singapore Math curriculum or methodology is a strong plus, but training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a growth mindset in students.
- Ability to adapt to a multicultural and international work environment, with a willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia.
