Note: This role is open to candidates based in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung) with the right to work in Indonesia.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications for TikTok LIVEâs Data & AI infrastructure, including indexing, labeling, and portrait platforms.
- Build and optimize AI-driven agents to enhance real-time user engagement, content moderation, and personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate with data scientists and backend engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
- Develop APIs and microservices to support high-traffic live-streaming features with low latency and high reliability.
- Implement data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow across TikTok LIVEâs ecosystem.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Java.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems to ensure optimal user experience.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in AI, data engineering, and full-stack development to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with expertise in backend (Python, Go, Java) and frontend (React, Vue.js, or similar) technologies.
- Proven experience with AI/ML integration, data pipelines, or large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching (Redis), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or similar).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Flink) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
