Responsibility

  • Lead, train, and supervise the front office team to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service and adherence to resort standards.
  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes, guest inquiries, and reservation management, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at all times.
  • Handle guest complaints and escalations with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and manage room inventory, allocations, and overbookings in collaboration with the reservations team to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and operational alignment for a flawless guest experience.
  • Prepare daily reports on front office activities, including occupancy rates, guest feedback, and revenue performance, for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with resort policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including emergency response plans and data protection standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of front office initiatives, such as upselling strategies, guest loyalty programs, and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a front office or guest services role within a luxury hotel or resort, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding guest service and resolving complex guest issues with diplomacy and tact.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and additional languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Amadeus, or similar platforms; experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the resort’s operational needs.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Certification in hospitality management (e.g., AHLEI, CHA) or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
