Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of cashiers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Train and coach cashiers to enhance performance, accuracy, and customer service skills.
- Monitor daily cashier operations, including cash handling, transactions, and reconciliation.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalations professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with store management to optimize front-end workflows and reduce wait times.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, discrepancies, and performance metrics.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a cashier or front-end supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate teams.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for cash handling and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in retail management are a plus.
