Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Identify and document quality issues in real-time, implementing corrective actions to prevent defects and ensure product consistency.
- Perform regular audits of manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities to maintain hygiene and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and provide training on best practices for food safety and quality control.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data, preparing reports for management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, ISO, and other relevant standards.
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, determining root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits, ensuring traceability and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety, quality control, or a related role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software for data analysis and reporting.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO) is a plus.
