As our Food Dispatcher, you will oversee the inspection, coordination, and timely dispatch of premium ingredients and raw materials to our on-site culinary teams. Responsibility
- Inspect and verify the quality, quantity, and freshness of all incoming ingredients and raw materials against purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers, chefs, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to event sites.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Optimize dispatch schedules to minimize delays and ensure just-in-time delivery for event preparations.
- Enforce food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Resolve logistical challenges, such as transportation delays or last-minute order changes, with proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality, cost-effective ingredients from trusted vendors.
- Prepare and submit daily dispatch reports, including delivery confirmations and material usage tracking.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or food service operations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and inventory/ERP software; experience with catering-specific tools is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with multicultural teams and clients.
- Problem-solving mindset with a track record of resolving logistical issues efficiently.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials (up to 20 kg) and work in varying temperatures (e.g., cold storage, outdoor events).
- Valid driverās license and familiarity with Baliās geography are advantageous.
