Are you a dedicated safety professional looking to make a measurable impact in a large-scale industrial environment? Cargill is seeking a highly motivated Fleet Safety Specialist to join our team in Kendawangan, Kalimantan Barat. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our site-wide fleet safety strategy, ensuring that our logistics and transport operations meet the highest global safety standards.
You will collaborate closely with operational units to cultivate a culture of proactive safety, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. This is a critical position for a leader who excels in technical oversight, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing and logistics sector.
Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor fleet safety policies and procedures aligned with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site safety audits and inspections for all fleet vehicles and equipment to identify hazards.
- Lead root-cause analysis for vehicle incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide comprehensive safety training and coaching programs for drivers and logistics personnel.
- Collaborate with operational leadership to integrate safety KPIs into daily transport activities.
- Manage vehicle safety documentation and ensure all registrations, certifications, and maintenance logs are compliant.
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and recommend strategic safety enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fleet safety, transportation management, or industrial safety.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian traffic regulations and transport safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draft professional safety reports.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive behavioral changes in a safety-first culture.
- Certification in Defensive Driving or relevant HSE credentials is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
