Responsibility
- Lead the fixed assets accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of asset transactions globally.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reporting processes in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of fixed asset registers to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to track asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for fixed asset management and depreciation.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis on fixed asset performance and utilization.
- Assist in external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to fixed assets.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations affecting fixed asset accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or general accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams.
- Experience in a multinational company or shared services environment is preferred.
