Responsibility
- Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants to ensure high-quality financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management for business growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in tax compliance and coordination with auditors is a plus.
