Responsibility
- Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements for M&A transactions, private equity investments, and corporate restructuring.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including historical performance reviews, quality of earnings assessments, and working capital analyses.
- Identify key financial risks, opportunities, and deal-breakers, presenting findings in clear, actionable reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and commercial due diligence experts, to deliver comprehensive transaction advisory services.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide cutting-edge insights to clients.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations, to expand EY’s transaction advisory practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, audit, or corporate finance, preferably within a Big 4 or leading advisory firm.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and business development initiatives.
