Responsibility

  • Contact customers via phone, email, or in-person visits to negotiate and arrange payment plans for outstanding debts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities, customer interactions, and payment arrangements in the company’s database.
  • Analyze customer accounts to identify delinquency patterns and develop effective strategies for debt recovery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and legal, to escalate complex cases and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving disputes, and offering solutions to facilitate timely payments.
  • Monitor and report on collection performance metrics, including recovery rates, delinquency trends, and customer feedback.
  • Conduct skip-tracing activities to locate customers with delinquent accounts when necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry trends in debt collection.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in debt collection, financial services, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and empathetically.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with CRM or debt collection software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet collection targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payments.
