Responsibility
- Develop and maintain robust internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Supervise daily financial operations and accounting functions to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews to identify operational risks and implement mitigating strategies.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline financial reporting and enhance department efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights that support data-driven decision-making.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Mentor and coach accounting staff to foster a culture of excellence, accuracy, and professional growth.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management, highlighting performance trends and potential areas for cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, tax compliance, and local reporting standards.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data, detect discrepancies, and execute corrective process improvements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing team performance and stakeholder expectations.
- High level of integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
