Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and facilitate timely tax filings.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the retail or F&B industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plus.
