Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets under the guidance of senior finance team members.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including reconciliations and data validation.
- Conduct financial analysis and research to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Help monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Participate in ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives to support business growth.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.
- Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or related fields is advantageous.
