Responsibility
- Produce and validate daily P&L reports with meticulous accuracy, ensuring alignment with trading activities and market conditions.
- Perform P&L decomposition to identify key drivers of profitability and variance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with trading, operations, and risk teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support real-time decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls, mitigating financial and operational risks.
- Prepare month-end and quarter-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Analyze market trends, product performance, and cost structures to optimize financial outcomes.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA, CPA, or FRM certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, product control, or a similar role within banking or financial services.
- Proven expertise in P&L reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VBA) and financial systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, SAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, IFRS) and risk management principles.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
