Responsibility
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK and EMEA standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update financial records, databases, and systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including handling invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required by the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial administration.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, processes, and regulations, particularly in the UK and EMEA markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining strong communication with the team.
