Based in Bali’s key business hubs—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth and impact.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and tax regulations.
- Manage tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes, while ensuring full compliance with local tax laws.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPN, PPh, etc.) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Experience in the retail or technical equipment industry is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
